Brad Evans Foundation Fund Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Orange County Community Foundation
Introduction and purpose The Brad Evans Foundation Fund Scholarship was created by the Evans family to commemorate their son and brother, honoring a life defined by integrity, loyalty and commitment. The award is intended to help cover first-year expenses for a talented, well-rounded student attending the University of California, Berkeley.
About Brad Evans Brad graduated from Corona del Mar High School in 1996. He excelled academically and athletically—earning an academic letter, serving as editor of the school newspaper, starting as a guard on the varsity basketball team and co-captaining the varsity baseball squad. Known for an inclusive nature that drew people together, Brad was admired for his humor, creativity and adventurous spirit. He continued his education at UC Berkeley as both a Regent’s and a Chancellor’s Scholar but tragically passed away four months before his scheduled graduation. This scholarship preserves his legacy by supporting a deserving first-year Berkeley student.
