Introduction and Purpose
The Junior Girls' Golf Scholarship Foundation exists to provide financial support to college- or university-bound women who have a demonstrated interest in golf but did not receive a golf scholarship. The Foundation uses a single, general application to select recipients for its annual awards, which may include the SARAH E. HUNEYCUTT Scholarship, the PEG & BILL ROBERTS Scholarship, the LARRY FLYNN MEMORIAL Scholarship, the MARCIA MILETTI Scholarship, the PEGGY BRASS Scholarship, and any one-time scholarships approved by the JGGSF Board of Directors.
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted by May 30th of the year for which the scholarship is sought.
How Applications Are Processed
- Submitted materials are reviewed by the JGGSF Board.
- Some applicants may be invited to a personal interview; these interviews may be conducted by telephone, online, or in person at the interviewer’s discretion.
- Following the initial interview round, a subset of candidates may be asked to attend an in-person final interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.
- After final interviews, the Board and Scholarship Selection Committee will determine that year’s scholarship recipients and any one-time awards.
