Introduction
Every day we make numerous choices—some trivial, others life-changing—and many of those are influenced by our internal dialogue. Maintaining a balanced mindset and clear focus helps people make thoughtful, healthy decisions. To encourage reflection on how mindset and environment affect mental clarity and well-being, Veliz & Associates, P.A. is pleased to present the Right Mindset Scholarship. This award seeks to spotlight students who practice resilience and sustained focus, and who can share real-world strategies that uplift themselves and others.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a legal resident of the United States living in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
- Be a current high school senior, vocational student, college undergraduate, or graduate student enrolled in a vocational program or a two- to four-year post-secondary institution.
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing.

The following are ineligible:
- Employees of Veliz & Associates, P.A., their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, spouse), and anyone sharing a household with such employees (related or not).

Application Requirements
To be considered, applicants must submit all items listed below by May 30, 2026:
1. A completed application form (see form below).
2. An original essay of 750–1,000 words responding to the prompt: “How do you cultivate a positive environment and nurture the right mindset to approach each day with clarity and well-being?”
3. A professional résumé outlining academic and professional experience.
4. An academic transcript from the current institution. If you are a first-year college student, a graduate student, or a recent transfer, you may provide an unofficial transcript from your current school plus the most recent official transcript from your previous school. High school seniors may submit proof of acceptance to a college or university in place of a transcript.

Additional Consideration
Preference will be given to students who are from, or currently attending secondary school in, the state.

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Ensure all documents are clear, accurate, and submitted before the May 30, 2026 deadline.
