At Valero Law Group Injury Lawyers, we recognize the profound physical, emotional, and financial toll that accidents can inflict on individuals and their loved ones. In line with our mission, we're thrilled to unveil the 2024 Share the Road Scholarship, which carries a $1,000 award. This scholarship is accessible to anyone who aligns with our goal of enhancing road safety and reducing accident rates. The application deadline is September 30, 2024.

We're calling on applicants to express their ideas on how we can collectively promote responsible driving habits and decrease accidents. We're eager to hear your innovative suggestions on how we can enhance road safety for all users, including pedestrians, motorcyclists, bicyclists, and other motorists, whether through education, enforcement, or innovation.

We're confident that this scholarship can help raise awareness about the critical issue of road safety and inspire individuals to contribute to making our roads safer for all. If you or a loved one has been impacted by a serious accident, the compensation from a personal injury lawsuit can assist in covering medical bills, lost income, and other damages.

Eligibility

• The scholarship is available to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student, or graduate student who is a legal U.S. resident living in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or a two to four-year post-secondary institution for the Fall 2024 semester.
• Valero Law Group Injury Lawyers' employees, their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, and spouses), and individuals residing in the same household (regardless of their relationship), are not eligible to enter the competition.
• Applicants for this scholarship should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good academic standing overall.

Application Requirements

• Applicants must complete the form below, providing all required information.
• Applicants must submit an essay of 750-1000 words responding to the prompt: As personal injury attorneys, we handle a wide variety of accident cases. We're interested in hearing your ideas on how to improve road safety and promote responsible driving habits to ensure all road users, including pedestrians, motorcyclists, bicyclists, and others, can share the road safely.
• Applicants must provide a professional resume detailing their academic and professional experiences.
• Applicants must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, along with the most recent official transcript from their previous school. High school students must also provide proof of acceptance to their college or university.
• Preference will be given to students who are either from or attending secondary school in the state.
