Overview

LNN Law Accident & Employment Lawyers recognizes that recovery often involves emotional and social dimensions that persist beyond visible healing. The scholarship seeks essays and supporting materials that reflect resilience, mindfulness, therapy, and integrated support systems. Eligibility
Applicants must be legal residents of the United States and enrolled in a vocational program, two- to four-year post-secondary institution, or be a current high school senior. Employees of LNN Law Accident & Employment Lawyers, their immediate families, and household members are ineligible. Candidates should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in good academic standing. Specific documentation requirements for different student categories are detailed in the application instructions.

Application Requirements
Applicants must complete the required application form and submit several materials that demonstrate academic and personal qualifications. Core submission items include a 750–1,000 word essay addressing the psychological impact of injuries and proposing holistic recovery approaches, a professional résumé, and current academic transcripts or acceptable alternatives. The scholarship enforces an AI-writing verification policy; essays determined to contain AI-generated content will be disqualified. Additional guidance is provided for first-year college students, recent transfers, and high school applicants regarding acceptable transcript or proof-of-acceptance documentation.

Award Details
The scholarship awards a single $1,000 prize to a selected recipient to support their educational pursuits and recovery-focused initiatives. Selection gives preference to students from or attending the state’s secondary school as noted in the official terms. The recipient will be notified following the selection period; disbursement details will be provided to the awardee. The scholarship aims to elevate student voices on integrated recovery and to support continued academic progress.

Timeline & Selection
Applications are due at the end of January each award cycle. The recipient is chosen during the month following the application deadline, and applicants will be notified after the selection process concludes.
