National Presbyterian College Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Presbyterian Mission Agency
The goal of the combined program is to promote leadership development and discernment of vocation. This emphasis allows students to not only gain valuable knowledge for the world, but also to engage with discovering who God created them to be.
Between twenty-five and thirty rising freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be selected for award. Awardees are eligible for renewal but must re-apply each year. The Presbyterian Church (USA) mission work plan emphasizes relieving poverty and reducing the impact of systems of white supremacy. These goals allow for additional funding for students of color, students who are the first in their family to attend college and students with unusually high need.
Selection Criteria
Presbyterian Church (USA) members who are:
- Enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States
- Seeking a first associates or bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrate need after any merit or need-based aid awarded by the college/university.
The Presbyterian Scholarship may not be used for study abroad. Students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States, making satisfactory academic progress, and demonstrate financial need in order to be considered for award.
