HFLA Jewish Student Scholarship

The HFLA Jewish Student Scholarship offers a maximum award of $6,500
This financial aid is specifically for students residing in Washington State who can demonstrate a financial need.
Who is eligible to apply?
The scholarship is open to high school students entering their senior year, current undergraduate students, and those enrolled in vocational or technical programs.

Required Documents
Valid Photo ID (such as a driver’s license or student ID)
Evidence of Enrollment (like an acceptance letter, upcoming semester schedule, or tuition bill)
Student Financial Aid Award
If you are currently enrolled in a college, community college, vocational or technical school, you must upload your most recent transcript showing your cumulative GPA.
References - You must provide 2 Letters of Reference. Please forward this link to your referees.
Income tax - You must submit the first page of your parent's income tax return for the previous year (we may request additional information if necessary).
Eligibility Criteria
- Jewish: Applicants must identify as part of the Jewish community
- Washington state resident: Applicants must have resided in Washington state for a minimum of 6 months
- Age: Applicants must be 25 years old or younger
- Eligible students: This includes those enrolled in a college, community college, or vocational/technical program.
- Current post-secondary student GPA: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2
- High school applicants: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2
- Proof of acceptance: Applicants must provide proof of acceptance for the Fall academic term at an accredited, non-profit institution in the United States (this includes undergraduate, vocational, technical, or community college programs).
