The Building Bridges Scholarship is designed to support students who actively participate in their local communities. For more details on the qualifications for this award, please refer to the Eligibility Criteria section. Please note that essays should not exceed 150 words, a revision from previous years.
NPVA annually provides merit-based scholarships to students who are dedicated to volunteer work and community service. These scholarships are available to students at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be currently enrolled or intending to enroll either part-time or full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university. This includes vocational/technical schools, two-year colleges, four-year universities, or graduate institutions.
- Be a high school junior or senior, an undergraduate student, or a graduate student
- Maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Winners must submit an official transcript verifying their reported GPA and proof of enrollment. However, these documents are not required until after the selection process.
