GlobalAir.com is fervently committed to fostering the growth of the aviation industry. We aim to support both those who aspire to become professional pilots and those who are pursuing their pilot's license purely for the joy of it. The Calvin L. Carrithers Aviation Scholarship is our initiative to help these individuals reach their dreams. Each year, we offer four American students a $1,000 scholarship. These students must be committed to weekly blogging about their flight training, flying experiences, academic life, and passion for aviation.
We collaborate with students enrolled in university aviation programs across the United States, aiming to offer a scholarship that not only benefits the students financially but also provides them a platform to share their journey towards a successful career in the aviation industry.
This platform serves multiple purposes. It connects student pilots with a vast online community of pilots, engineers, and flight departments. Additionally, it functions as a recruitment tool for the aviation schools themselves.
We will begin accepting applications for the scholarship on March 1, 2025. The final date for submitting applications is August 15, 2025.
