Overview
The BeSpatial Student Bursary is an annual prize celebrating students enrolled at Ontario post-secondary institutions. It offers emerging professionals visibility within the sector and a pathway to engage with industry gatherings.
Who can apply
Applicants must be current students in an Ontario post-secondary program — this includes certificate, diploma, post-graduate diploma, undergraduate, or graduate-level study.
Topics of interest
Submissions should demonstrate GIS applications in areas such as Education, Geomatics Engineering, Environment, Natural Resources, Public Safety, Transportation, Facility and Asset Management, Business, or Analytics.
How to apply
To enter, eligible students should provide a story map together with a brief paper describing a project that was completed as part of their Ontario academic program. If you do not yet have an Esri account, you can create one for free.
Submission requirements
- The written project summary must be no longer than 500 words and should explain the project’s purpose, the data used, and the solution or outcome it delivers.
- Including maps and other data visualizations to illustrate results is strongly encouraged.
