Eligibility & Application
Eligible applicants are nurses holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) who plan to pursue graduate-level pediatric nursing education (NP, MSN, or DNP). Applicants should demonstrate alignment with the Foundation’s vision for family-centered pediatric care. The selection process requires submission of standard application materials that document professional preparation and personal commitment.
Eligibility: BSN-prepared nurses from NJ, NY, CT, or PA seeking Nurse Practitioner, MSN, or DNP degrees with a pediatric specialty.
Application Requirements: Applicants must submit a resume with two references, a recent academic transcript, and an approximately 500-word essay describing their vision for providing excellent pediatric care and how they intend to realize that vision.

Award Details
The Meland Foundation provides individual scholarship awards to support graduate nursing education with a pediatric focus.
