Who may apply
To be eligible, applicants must be African‑American high school seniors who plan to enroll in a postsecondary program (a two‑year or four‑year college, or a technical/trade school). In addition, applicants must live in one of the counties listed below in either Southwest Georgia or the San Francisco Bay Area.
Southwest Georgia counties:
Baker, Calhoun, Colquitt, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Grady, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, Terrell, Thomas, Worth
San Francisco Bay Area counties:
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma
