Description: The Arizona School Counselors Association advances the school counseling profession by providing resources, professional networking, and guidance for ethical practice and partnerships with families, staff, and community organizations. The association promotes implementation of evidence-based national school counseling models to support students' academic progress, college and career planning, and social–emotional development. As part of this work, the association awards scholarships to recognize and assist high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education. These scholarships reinforce the association’s commitment to student access and college/career readiness.

Eligibility
Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled in a public or private secondary school in Arizona and permanent residents of the state. Candidates must plan to attend a post-secondary institution in the 2027–2028 academic year. Additionally, the applicant’s school counselor must be employed by the school and be a current member of the Arizona School Counselors Association. Meeting all eligibility criteria is required for consideration.

- Must have a school counselor who is an ASCA member.
Award Value
Award Value: The association awards three scholarships, each providing $2,000.00 to help winners cover post-secondary education costs. Each scholarship is non-renewable and awarded to individual students. The awards are intended to offset direct education expenses and support the recipient’s transition to higher education or training.

Application Timeline
Application Timeline: Applications must be received by 8:00 PM on the specified November deadline. Winners will be notified on or before December 18, 2026, and only selected recipients will be contacted. Applicants should confirm eligibility and their counselor’s ASCA membership before submitting materials to avoid disqualification. Follow the official submission instructions and deadlines closely to ensure consideration.
