AAF Dallas Foundation Scholarship Fund — Overview
The AAF Dallas Foundation awards one-year scholarships, up to $2,000 each, to currently enrolled college students pursuing associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees in the various disciplines within advertising and marketing.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be classified as a college sophomore or junior, or be enrolled in a master’s degree program.
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Be enrolled at a higher education institution located in one of these Texas counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Grayson, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Rockwall, or Tarrant.
- Be a U.S. citizen or a legally documented resident of the United States.
Selection Criteria
Award decisions are based chiefly on:
- Career goals and commitment to a future in advertising and/or marketing.
- Active contributions to the collegiate advertising/marketing community.
- Demonstrated financial need.
- Engagement in school and community activities.
Additional considerations include demonstrated leadership potential, the quality of the applicant essay, and letters of recommendation.
