Registered nurses in New York State (NYS) can receive up to $20,000 annually for their graduate education, leading to a nursing or adjunct clinical faculty career.
- You could be awarded up to $20,000 per annum.
- You must be enrolled in a graduate program that prepares you for a nursing faculty or adjunct clinical faculty role in NYS.
- If you've already completed a semester of a qualifying graduate program, you need a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Reside in NYS and commit to working as a nursing faculty or adjunct faculty for a period of four years.

GRANT AMOUNT
- Grants can be up to $20,000 per year or the average tuition cost for a SUNY-operated graduate program, whichever is less.
- The grant amount will be reduced if you receive other financial aid awards.
How the grant amount is determined:
- Grants are given based on available funding, with preference given to previous recipients.
- New applicants are assessed based on GPA and their experience as a licensed registered nurse. In the event of same-score applicants, a lottery system may be utilized.

Each year, you must complete the FAFSA and TAP application or DREAM Act application to receive payment.
