BC Young Farmers Scholarship

Program overview
The BC Young Farmers Scholarship offers annual financial support to help develop the next generation of agricultural leaders. It is intended for British Columbia residents, ages 19–40, who are pursuing post-secondary education or training in an agriculture-related field.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Resident of British Columbia*
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident*
- Between 19 and 40 years of age
- Enrolled in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program related to agriculture*
- Open to both new and returning students
*Items marked with an asterisk require documentation.
Selection preferences
While all eligible applicants are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to candidates who:
- Are connected to a BCAC member association — as a member, the child of a member, or an employee of a member (see list of BCAC members)
- Intend to work in primary agriculture or aquaculture (for example: shellfish, finfish, kelp)
