Resilience in Action Scholarship

Introduction
The Los Angeles personal-injury attorneys at BANA LAW are committed to supporting their clients—and this year they're extending that commitment to students. To honor perseverance among the next generation, BANA LAW is offering the Resilience in Action Scholarship, a $2,500 award available to undergraduate and graduate students attending school in California beginning this year.
Award review timeline
All essays will be read by BANA LAW’s scholarship selection committee. A winner will be chosen within three months after the scholarship submission deadline.
Who is eligible
Applicants must satisfy all of the following to be considered:
- Be enrolled at a college, university, trade school, or graduate program located in California.
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment.
- Be a resident of California, United States.
- Be in good academic standing with their institution.
- Provide basic personal and academic details (for example: name, contact information, and school information).
- Submit an original essay responding to the scholarship topic provided.
Who is not eligible
The following individuals are excluded from applying:
- Employees of BANA LAW and their children.
- Previous recipients of the Resilience in Action Scholarship.
- Applicants who would decline or be unable to participate in an interview with a BANA LAW representative if selected for the award.
- Applicants who reuse the same essay for other scholarships or submit the same essay in consecutive years.
