Eligibility
This scholarship is open to students across the United States, including high school seniors, vocational students, undergraduates at two- and four-year institutions, and graduate students. Applicants must be legal residents of one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and enrolled in an accredited program. Employees of The Downer Law Firm, P.A., their immediate family members, and household members of such employees are ineligible.
Eligibility: Candidates must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing; proof of enrollment or acceptance may be required for certain applicants.

Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a 750–1,000 word essay describing a fundraiser they were involved in and the meaningful difference it made for an individual or community. All essays will be reviewed for AI-generated content; any indication of AI writing will result in disqualification. In addition to the essay, candidates must provide a professional résumé and a transcript from their current school, with guidance for first-year and transfer students on acceptable unofficial and prior transcripts.
Application Requirements: Provide the required essay, résumé, and transcript documentation; adhere to the word count and originality expectations. Preference is given to students from or attending secondary school in the state.
