We at The Law Offices of Gerstenfield & Demirji, PC. offer a firm-sponsored $1,000 scholarship to undergraduate social science majors who believe in education's transformative power and ability to change the world.
Our firm’s approach to law goes beyond courts and cases; we are passionately invested in the people and communities we serve. Through our Shapers of Society Scholarship, we hope to do just that.

Are You Eligible to Apply?
Please consider the following eligibility criteria before applying for our scholarship:
- Undergraduate students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university within the United States for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Students majoring in any discipline within social sciences, such as Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, and related fields.
- Students who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Students 17 years of age or older.
All eligible students, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or physical ability, are welcome to apply. We look forward to supporting a diverse and inclusive group of future societal shapers.
How Do You Apply?
Before submitting your scholarship application, ensure all the necessary documents and information are ready. Applications will be reviewed and judged by the staff and legal professionals at our law office. Please refer to the list of required materials below:
- Personal information: Basic personal details like your name, contact information, university, and major. This baseline information will not only be used to determine eligibility but also to contact you if you win.
- Academic records: Transcript of your grades in the form of an unofficial transcript.
- Video Essay Submission
Applicants are asked to submit a 2 to 3-minute video essay answering one of the following video prompt questions:
- Please share how being a social science major has affected your worldview and discuss how your studies have challenged or reinforced your perspectives.
- Discuss your career aspirations within the social sciences and how you plan to use your education to achieve those objectives.
