Overview

ASPSF provides scholarships and support services to single parents pursuing higher education or vocational training. The program is designed to address practical needs—such as child care, transportation, car repairs, and rent—so recipients can remain enrolled and progress toward career goals. Awards are available for degree programs and professional certificates, including trades and health-care training. The foundation aims to help single parents achieve family-sustaining employment through education and skills training.

Description: Flexible financial support and nonfinancial services for single parents in Arkansas and Bowie County, Texas, intended to reduce barriers to completing postsecondary education or credential programs.

  • Support covers everyday expenses that affect college persistence.
  • Funds are available for degree and certificate programs, including vocational training.
  • Services are targeted to help parents balance school, work, and family responsibilities.
