Eligibility
- Must be a high school senior who lives within the jurisdictional boundaries of a Nebraska Lodge, as defined by the Grand Lodge.
Required materials
1. Recommendation letters: Provide at least one letter of recommendation from one of the following: your principal, a member of the clergy, a teacher, a local businessperson, or an employer. You may submit as many as three recommendation letters in total. Each letter should comment on your leadership, community and/or school service, and your potential to benefit from college with the help of a scholarship.
2. Golf verification: A letter from your high school golf coach, a college golf coach, a personal golf coach, or an equivalent authority confirming your intention to play golf in college and stating your 18-hole handicap.
3. High school transcript: A certified copy of your high school transcript.
4. Personal statement: A written statement, no longer than 500 words, addressing your leadership roles in high school, your community service, and how you plan to continue leading and serving after graduation.
5. Activities list: A record of your high school extracurricular activities, including the number of seasons/years involved and any leadership positions held.

By submitting this application I certify that the information and materials provided are true and complete. I understand that every question and requested item is required and that incomplete applications are not acceptable. Information supplied on this form will be used only by the Nebraska Elks Association for scholarship evaluation. Application materials will be destroyed once the scholarship-awarding process concludes. Scholarship recipients will be notified by U.S. mail around April 2026; applicants who are not selected will be notified by email.
