Eligibility
Applicants must be incoming or current students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a New Jersey college or university. Candidates with exceptional resumes or curricula vitae will receive special consideration.

Requirements

A Media Release Form, which requires a photo of the applicant, must be included with the application. Incomplete submissions or missing documents may result in disqualification.

Award Details
The Jack Scura Fund awards one recipient $10,000, disbursed as two separate $5,000 checks for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. History of the Award
The scholarship is named in memory of John (Jack) Joseph Scura II, Esq., the founding partner of the firm that established the fund. Jack Scura valued education and personal sacrifice; he put himself through college and law school while raising a family. He passed away on September 24, 2018, and the fund honors his dedication to education and service to others. The scholarship continues his legacy by supporting students with disabilities.
