Eligibility Requirements
This section defines who may apply, specifying required residency, minimum age, and acceptable academic status. It covers current post-secondary students, high school seniors who have been accepted to college, and prospective students planning to enroll within a defined timeframe. These criteria establish the baseline for application screening and ensure applicants meet the program's basic qualifications. Applicants must satisfy both residency and enrollment-status requirements to be considered.
Eligibility: Applicants must be legal residents of the United States, including the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territories, and must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Eligible academic statuses include current enrollment in an accredited U.S. post-secondary degree program; high school seniors accepted to an accredited U.S. college or university who plan to enroll within 12 months; and individuals not currently enrolled but intending to begin an accredited U.S. post-secondary degree program within 12 months.
