JGGSF Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Junior Girls' Golf Scholarship Foundation
The deadline to apply for a JGGSF Scholarship to be awarded each year is May 30th of the year for which the application is being made.
Submitted applications will be reviewed by the Board and select candidates may be invited for a personal interview which may occur by phone, online, or in person at the discretion of the interviewer.
From the personal interview, select candidates may be invited to an in-person final interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.
Following the final interviews, the Board and Scholarship Selection Committee will identify recipients for that year's Sarah E. Huneycutt Scholarship, the Peg & Bill Roberts Scholarship, the Larry Flynn Memorial Scholarship, the Marcia Mileti Scholarship, the Peggy Brass Scholarship and any one-time awards being made that year.

This application will be used to identify recipients of the SARAH E. HUNEYCUTT Scholarship, the PEG & BILL ROBERTS Scholarship, the MARCIA MILETTI Scholarship, the PEGGY BRASS Scholarship, and any one-time Scholarship Awards offered by the JGGSF Board of Directors.
This application will be used in the selection process for all JGGSF Scholarship Award recipients. Please complete this application to be considered for one or all of the available scholarship awards.
Deadline: All applications must be submitted by May 30th of the award year
JGGSF Mission: To provide financial assistance to college or university-bound women with an interest in golf. Applicants must (be):
- A current Florida high school senior
- A resident of Florida
- Accepted (or in the process of applying) at an accredited college or university.
- For the Sarah E. Huneycutt Scholarship, the applicant must be applying to a Florida college or university.
- Have demonstrated an interest in golf, but unable to qualify for a golf scholarship
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher to retain multi-year scholarships
This application must be accompanied by:
- A recent photograph
- Certified high school transcript
- One letter of recommendation from someone other than a relative. It is suggested that recommendations be provided by someone who personally knows the applicant through a key life relationship such as:
- Guidance Counselor
- Teacher of an academic subject
- Employe
- Clergy
