Harry B. Rowell, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Community Foundation of Central Georgia
Purpose
This scholarship exists to assist Crawford County High School graduates who plan to continue their education at a four‑year college or university.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a graduating senior of Crawford County High School.
- Hold a minimum cumulative Crawford County High School GPA of 3.0.
- Have been accepted to, and intend to attend, an accredited four‑year college or university.
- Plan to enroll full time in a bachelor’s degree program.
Selection Factors
Candidates will be evaluated using these criteria:
- Academic merit and scholastic achievement
- Demonstrated leadership and strong citizenship
- Evidence of service to others
Required Recommendation
The Harry B. Rowell, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund requires a teacher recommendation. Provide the name and email address of a teacher who has agreed to submit the letter on your behalf. Be sure you have obtained their permission before listing them. After you complete your application, notify the teacher so they expect an email from our system requesting the recommendation.
