The Michael E. McGoldrick Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families by supporting a wide range of charitable causes. Established to honor the legacy of Michael E. McGoldrick, the private family foundation focuses on making a meaningful impact through Arts and Culture, Education, Environmental Conservation, Human Rights / Justice and the Rule of Law.
Eligibility
- Must be a graduating high school Senior who has lived in Colorado or Washington for your full Junior and Senior years of high school.
- Achieve a minimum weighted average GPA of 3.5 in high school or above, and have minimum college test scores of 28+ on ACT or 1200+ on the SAT.
- Meet the financial eligibility requirements below
- Be a U.S. citizen or have applied and started the process for citizenship, legal status or lawful presence. (Students will need to show evidence of in-process situations.) Visit our FAQ page to learn more about citizenship status.
- To be eligible for the MEM Scholars program, applicants must demonstrate financial need through a combined family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $150,000 or less on the 2025 federal tax return on which the applicant is claimed as a dependent. If there are additional dependents beyond the applicant claimed on the previous year’s tax return, we allow for $10,000 of additional income for each dependent.
