HL Taylor Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Iowa PTA
H. L. Taylor Scholarship — Overview and Eligibility
The H. L. Taylor Scholarship provides financial support to Iowa students pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be graduating seniors from an Iowa public high school (or the equivalent from an accredited Iowa public institution) and must have been Iowa residents for at least one year prior to graduation. The student’s high school must lie within a school district that has an active PTA in the district. Award funds are intended for full‑time study at an accredited Iowa college or university, an Iowa area vocational school, or another post‑high school training institution.
Acceptable institutions and fields of study
Programs that prepare students for specific professions are eligible as long as the training institution is licensed by the State of Iowa and holds the appropriate professional recognition. There is no restriction on the field of study for applicants.
