Georgia District Leadership Scholarship

Introduction
Key Clubs throughout Georgia are actively supporting their families, schools, and local neighborhoods through meaningful service projects, fundraising for important causes, and cultivating compassionate, capable student leaders. Key Club International, together with the Georgia District, offers awards, contests, and scholarships to recognize clubs, members, and advisors who display outstanding commitment to service.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicant must be a current Key Club member in good standing within the Georgia District.
- Applicant must be a graduating senior who is planning to attend college.
- Applicant must have at least a 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- The application must include completion of all required fields in the online form and upload the following attachments:
- An essay
- A letter of recommendation
- An official or unofficial transcript
- The Georgia District of Key Club International will establish the selection process for the Georgia District Leadership Scholarship. All decisions made by the judges are final.
- Only one scholarship recipient will be chosen. Financial need will not be used as a selection criterion. The award amount is US $1,000.
- All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on January 31, 2026.
- Submitted materials become the property of the Georgia District of Key Club International.
If Selected / Award Disbursement
- If chosen for the scholarship, recipients must submit their finalized college or university information — including the mailing address and phone number for the institution’s Office of the Bursar — to the Georgia Kiwanis Executive Director no later than July 1, 2026.
- Scholarship funds will not be released until mid-September 2026.
