Jack Dresslar KIAAA Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Kansas Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association
Overview
Each year the Kansas Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (KIAAA) presents the Jack Dressler KIAAA Scholarship to four outstanding Kansas high school student-athletes.
Purpose
Aligned with the goals of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) and the KIAAA—to promote and deepen understanding of the essential role interscholastic athletics play within education—this scholarship honors the collaboration between the KIAAA, NIAAA, and secondary schools. The award recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and sportsmanship, and highlights the value of high school athletics in a young person’s life.
Award Details
- Four scholarships of $2,000 each are granted annually, with one recipient chosen from each of Kansas’s four congressional districts.
