The Estevez Group, PC is dedicated to assisting individuals in distress, with a particular focus on immigration matters such as family-oriented immigration, naturalization, and marriage-based green cards. As part of our ongoing commitment, we are launching the Hope for Humanity Scholarship, aimed at undergraduate and graduate students who are keen to improve their communities in partnership with a nonprofit organization. The scholarship recipient will receive a $1,000 award towards their education.
Qualification Criteria
For your application to be considered for this scholarship, you must fulfill the following criteria:
- Applicants must be actively engaged in an internship or research project with a non-profit organization.
- Applicants must have a proven track record of dedication to human rights, as evidenced by previous academic work, volunteer activities, or activism.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. However, exceptions may be considered for applicants who have made significant non-academic contributions to humanitarian causes.
- Applicants must be at least 17 years old.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States.
- Applicants must hold United States citizenship.
Submission Guidelines
Please submit your essay in either .docx or .PDF format. Along with your essay, include the following documents as separate attachments:
- A resume detailing your academic accomplishments, volunteer activities, activism, or other relevant experiences.
- A confirmation letter from the non-profit organization where you are interning.
- A recommendation letter from a professor, employer, or mentor acknowledging your commitment and contributions to human rights.
- Document(s) verifying your current enrollment status and your most recent GPA.
