Bryson McCarty Memorial Scholarship

Introduction
Established in 2021, the Bryson McCarty Memorial Scholarship is a registered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting agricultural education across Lubbock, Lamb, Hale, and Hockley counties.
Purpose
This scholarship seeks high school seniors who plan to continue their education in an agriculture-related trade, demonstrate leadership in student organizations, and intend to enroll in a trade school program.
Award
Two recipients chosen from the applicant pool will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover costs associated with trade school.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
- Be a current high school senior residing in Lubbock, Lamb, Hale, or Hockley County.
- Have been accepted to an accredited junior college or trade school for the 2025–2026 academic year and be entering a program related to agriculture.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Complete and submit the required essay as part of the application.
Application Note
Only candidates who satisfy each of the above criteria will be considered for the two $1,000 awards.
