About CCTA Scholarships
CCTA awards scholarships to support the education of young farmers and agricultural industry professionals. These scholarships are funded by donations and proceeds from the association’s annual conference. The program targets deserving high school and college students who demonstrate interest and involvement in agriculture. CCTA views these awards as an investment in the future of conservation tillage and regional agriculture.

Application Details
Applications for upcoming semesters are submitted once annually and must include all required attachments. Applicants should prepare materials for either the Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 semester and meet the stated deadline. Submission may be completed via email or postal mail to the addresses provided by CCTA. Contact information and clear instructions are provided to ensure materials reach the coordinator on time.
Eligibility: Available to deserving high school and college students with demonstrated interest in agriculture.
Application Timeline: Scholarship applications for the Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 semesters are due in December. Applications and all required attachments should be emailed or mailed to CCTA.

2025 CCTA Scholarship Award
KIT CARSON, Colo. Jan. 15, 2025. The Colorado Conservation Tillage Association selected Garrett Scholz of Loomis, Nebraska, as the 2025 recipient of the CCTA Scholarship. Garrett is a student at Bertrand High School and is active in 4-H, FFA, and several cattle breed associations. He plans to pursue an agribusiness degree at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln starting in fall 2025 and intends to build a career that aligns with his interests while giving back to his community and faith.
Award Value: Garrett Scholz received a $1,000 CCTA scholarship funded by the association.
Recognition: The recipient was announced and will be recognized at the 37th Annual High Plains No-Till Conference in Burlington, Colorado, on Feb. 5, 2025.
