Application deadline

Scholarships available (2026)
A. Major General Gus Hargett Scholarship
- Number/Amount: One (1) award of $5,000
- Eligibility: Open to an Active member of the Tennessee National Guard who also holds an Active Annual membership in NGATN.
- Use of funds: May be applied to graduate-level coursework leading to a master’s or doctoral degree.
B. Dependent Scholarships
- Number/Amount: Ten (10) awards of $3,000 each
- Eligibility: For spouses and children of NGATN members who are Active Annual or Lifetime members.
C. Retiree Legacy Scholarship
- Number/Amount: One (1) award of $3,000
- Eligibility: Reserved for a spouse, child, or grandchild of a Retired Lifetime Member of NGATN.
- Use of funds: Intended for a first post-secondary degree or diploma.
